Trolling fishing is a good way to fish as you cover a larger area.\u003cbr\u003e In Denmark, trolling and trolling fishing from a vessel powered by motor power is prohibited within a distance of 100 m from the low water line.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Trolling fishing has been used by commercial fishermen in the past, but is otherwise a method used by recreational anglers. The fishery is mainly practiced in saltwater, and the primary goal of the anglers is to catch sea trout and salmon. Trolling reels are primarily used for this.\u003cbr\u003e Trolling fishing is practiced throughout Denmark, although not particularly widely along the west coast of Jutland and the east coast of northern Jutland. It is also widespread in Sweden and Finland, and the method is gaining ground in Norway and Germany.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eTrolling can be divided into four different methods – surface trolling, deep trolling, paravane trolling and planer board trolling. The methods can be combined, making it possible to fish with two or three different methods at the same time on the same boat.\u003cbr\u003e Today it is possible to fish with 10-12 rods at a time from a boat. However, there are not many trolling fishermen who use that many rods. Most choose to fish with 3-6 rods at a time. Many also choose to use paravanes to make it easier to keep the lines clear of each other.
