In addition to a really solid membrane, the Toray® membrane ensures you a really good breathability, so you can stay dry inside when you are walking to and from the fishing spot and wading for a whole day along the river.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eWhen it comes to small details that make a big difference, it is important to highlight that the Freestone waders from Simms include a large fleece-lined pocket with access from both sides. This makes it easy to warm up cold fingers. You will also find a secure chest pocket to store your tools and a Velcro patch where you can attach a fly patch to attach your flies. They do not have the same properties as GORE-TEX® and you will therefore not be able to find small holes and leaks using the alcohol test. Take care of all your Simms waders as if they were with a GORE-TEX® membrane. Be sure to dry them after use, do not wear jeans when wearing waders and never put them in the dryer or any other form of heat drying.\u003cbr\u003e Simms cannot replace the socks on these waders. They can only fit custom socks on GORE-TEX® waders. \u003cbr\u003eWhen washing your waders, it is best to hand wash them. Use cold water and regular detergent that does not contain bleach. Once you have washed your waders, be sure to dry them thoroughly. Start with the inside first.
