Pike Flies & Tropical Flies
Here you will find our large selection of pike flies and tropical flies. Pike flies come in many different variations and sizes, but what they have in common is that they must be able to withstand the pike's sharp teeth.
It has become very popular to travel south during the cold months, when fishing is almost at a standstill here at home. Here, the beautiful tropical flies are indispensable when you want to go down and fight the somewhat stronger southern fish.
For many, fly fishing for pike is a clear winner. You can follow the arc that may rise from the reeds or water lilies and follow your pike fly. The pike may follow the fly for several meters without biting, but then it is just a matter of throwing the pike fly in the same direction again. Once you have felt the rush and the excitement of getting the upper hand over the strong fish, you will never let go of pike fishing again.
The same tension applies when fishing with tropical flies in warmer waters. Here, your regular rod can easily seem too stiff and inadequate due to the many forces that are being fought against in a fight with one of these fish. Fortunately, rods are often rented in the destinations that are suitable for fishing, so you don't have to travel with your own rod.
