Shore flies on pipes
Coastal flies on tubes are among the most catch-safe fishing methods available. With tubes you get a significantly higher landing rate than with streamers of the same size. The most important advantage of coastal flies on tubes is the possibility of using small treble hooks. These provide much better penetration and hook hold than the streamers that Scandinavian coastal fly fishermen often use.
Another obvious advantage of tube flies is that the fly and hook are separate, which means that the lifespan of the fly is not defined by the hook – or vice versa. This means that you can easily replace your hook if it has been damaged, and you therefore do not have to throw away your favorite fly. Conversely, a broken fly does not necessarily mean that the hook also needs to be thrown away.

Coastal flies on tubes offer great flexibility in terms of load and various types of modular construction. At the same time, the tube fly allows for quick mounting of, for example, propellers, soft and action discs.
