RUBBER ANIMALS FOR FISHING – HOW TO FISH WITH RUBBER ANIMALS
You can fish with rubber animals in many different ways. A classic spinning rod is first and foremost a sensible starting point when fishing with rubber animals, but you can also try your hand at an UL fishing rod . UL fishing rods are light, small rods, and therefore they are well suited for fishing with rubber animals, as the light rods make the rubber animals very lively in the water, which among other things attracts various fish.
Softbaits – or rubber animals – are artificial baits, which is why you can typically reuse them over and over again. That way, you don't have to constantly go out and buy new baits, as is the case if you use live bait.
Softbaits are particularly suitable if you want to catch predatory fish such as pike or other fish that hunt fish and shellfish - and you can use the versatile rubber animals in both saltwater and freshwater.
When fishing with soft baits, it is important that you attach the soft bait to a sharp hook, or a special hook specifically designed for fishing with soft baits, as this ensures that the soft bait stays on the hook. You can vary your pauses, jerks and speed while fishing with soft baits.
