Keep your feet warm with heated insoles
Heated insoles are a great investment for anglers, especially in winter, and especially if you have feet that are sensitive to cold. With heated insoles, you have the opportunity to tailor the temperature to suit you and your needs. You can find heated insoles in many different varieties, and it is therefore easy to find some that suit your needs. For example, if you want heated insoles to take to work, it may be a good idea to buy some that are battery-operated. That way, you can have a warm foot no matter how cold it is on your fishing trip and what type of shoes you are wearing. You can find heated insoles in many different sizes and price ranges, and there is therefore something for every taste and budget. Most heated insoles can be used in regular shoes, but there are also certain models that can only be used in a certain type of shoe, and you should be aware of this when buying.
Adjust the heating insole to the temperature of your foot
It is always easy to adjust the temperature of heated insoles, so you can find the optimal temperature for your feet - everyone's feet are different and how cold they are varies. They are also made in a way that the foot does not overheat, which is why they are completely safe to wear.
Soles with built-in battery
The first thing to consider about insoles with a built-in battery is that they take up more space due to the battery located in the heating insole, however, it is always located in the back where there is the most space.
The heat is typically placed in the front part of the foot, where it has the best effect. If you choose insoles with a built-in battery, we recommend that they have a remote control, for 2 reasons, one is that you can wait to turn it on until the need arises and the other is that you can turn it off if it gets too hot without taking off a shoe.
Heating soles with external battery
When there is a battery in the trouser pocket rather than in the sole itself, it naturally requires a cord, for many it seems to be a big hassle, but consider the following. You can easily turn it on and off and then you have no limit on battery time as you can simply change the battery in your pocket. The cord is not noticeable and in the very cold weather with 2 layers of pants you will not notice it if it is in between the 2 layers.
The heated insoles take up less space when there is no battery in them and therefore they fit better in more of your shoes.
Connect the foot warmer to the power supply
Before the fishing trip, make sure that the battery of the heated soles is fully charged so that they do not suddenly run out of power - and therefore also heat - during the fishing trip. The heated soles are charged with a regular socket, just like when you charge your mobile phone.
Get extra warmth with thermal socks
Whether it's winter or summer, it's always good to have a pair of waders when you're going fishing. They're great to wear under your waders, as the water can make your feet very cold, especially if you're out in the water for a long time. Just like the heated insoles, the temperature of the heated socks can be regulated and the socks can keep your feet warm for many hours.
