Description

A.Jensen PENA Fly Reel

A.Jensen Pena is the reel design that meets the demands of today's fly fishermen. We wanted to create a lightweight and durable reel with a closed brake and a modern and functional design.

The result was the A.Jensen Pena wheel.

The wheel is CNC-cut from high-quality 6061 aircraft aluminum. The extreme strength of this precious material ensures high stability, which is one of the most important factors, especially when you also want to make a very light wheel.

The brake is a closed disc brake system. It runs smoothly, making it perfect for fishing with thin rods. At the same time, it still has plenty of power for those days when you catch a trophy trout, goldfish or maybe a bream.

The coil has a "V" shape that allows room for extra backing if needed.

The reel has a UL arbor design that aids in the use of thin blanks and makes it a pleasure to reel in loose line quickly...

The wheel has a "steep angle" handle that makes it much easier to grip.

The surface is very durable, so it can be used in salt water if desired!

The reel leg is designed so that it will not damage the lead if you pull it around the reel leg during transport from one fishing spot to another. A normal reel leg will cause a kink in the line, which will affect the presentation, especially when using dry flies - with the A.Jensen Pena reel leg this problem is eliminated.

This is the perfect reel for the dedicated dry fly/nymph angler or if you are focusing on farmed rainbows.

  • No rush or rush

Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.
