Description

Scientific Anglers presents the Headway Strategic Intermediate/Sink 3 fly lines, designed specifically for European anglers and developed through over a decade of expertise in fly line technology. These lines are tailored for both single and double-handed rods and focus on delivering superior performance with purpose-built features.

  • The Headway Strategic lines feature compact bellies that are shorter than standard versions, ideal for maneuvering in various river sizes and easier D-loop management.
  • A powerful rear-weighted taper design allows effortless rod loading, enhancing spey casting and providing excellent angled casting capabilities.
  • The transition between belly and tip is engineered to avoid hinging, ensuring smoother loops and better presentation of flies.
  • Textured coating improves line handling by making it easier to pull from the water prior to casting.
  • Includes a bright orange tracer at the rear end for excellent visual tracking during casting and fishing.
  • Designed to be used with compatible tips, completing a comprehensive fly line system with a variety of weights and densities available.
  • Maintenance tips highlight the importance of cleaning to maintain hydrophobic properties for optimal flotation and casting performance.

These features make the Headway Strategic Intermediate/Sink 3 suitable for anglers seeking precision and reliable performance in their fly fishing setup.

  • No rush or rush

Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.
