Description
The Whiting American Hen SH/C is a premium quality soft-hackle and chickabou pelt designed for fly tying subsurface flies that are both attractive and highly effective. This product features two distinct types of feathers:
Soft Hackle: Two panels of full web, Matuka-type wet fly feathers on the top portion of the pelt. These mirror-image feathers are perfect for tying balanced Matuka and Sculpin flies, short tarpon and saltwater flies, as well as full feather bass and panfish flies. They are also ideal for wrapped hackle applications for steelhead and salmon flies.
Chickabou: Marabou-like feathers at the narrow end of the pelt, which are finer and more delicate than traditional turkey marabou. Chickabou can be used as tails on Wolly Buggers or as body material that provides lively, breathing and undulating motion.
This versatile hackle pelt offers a wide range of application possibilities for creating subsurface flies that entice target fish with natural movement and appearance.
Fast delivery, followed by good follow-up service.
the products lived up to expectations.

No rush or rush
Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.
