Description

Whiting Spey Hackle Rooster Cape in Bronze is a premium substitute for traditional heron feathers used in tying Spey and Dee flies. Derived from genetically selected roosters, these feathers recreate the classic swept-back profile and fluid movement essential for effective salmon and spey fishing patterns.

  • Long, substantial barbs without webbing between them and excellent feather density.
  • Feathers approximately 5-12 cm long, suitable for body hackle or tail use.
  • Each cape patch measures about 25 cm in length.
  • Available in a range of colors and patterns to inspire creative fly tying.
  • Ideal substitute for rare and protected heron feathers, offering great quality at a reasonable price.

This product caters primarily to fly fishing enthusiasts tying salmon and related patterns, specifically for use in Spey and Dee fly techniques.

  • No rush or rush

Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.

At Fluer.dk you are always greeted with a friendly tone, and always with help based on where you stand financially and in terms of experience... That is, you will receive incredibly friendly guidance, regardless of whether you are super experienced and only use the most expensive gear, or whether you are new to the "profession" and are finding your style... Fluer.dk must have the best recommendations from here, and thanks for the always best guidance and service.
