Korda Heli Safe Lead Release System 2 pcs.

The Korda Heli Safe Lead Release System revolutionised helicopter rig fishing as it meant that the lead could be released consistently as soon as you got a fish on the hook, especially in situations where it was essential. As well as dropping the lead when fishing in water with a lot of vegetation and weed, it is also popular with people using a chod rig, where the release of the lead increases your chances of landing a fish, especially at long range where a heavy lead is used.

However, there is also the option to fit a small plastic collar (included) that secures the lead in place, for use in situations where it is not necessary to drop it, but you still want the versatility that the Heli-Safe System offers. It can be used with Leaders – such as any Ring Swivel in Korda’s Dark Matter or Kable Leadcore ranges, which can be adapted to fit the Heli-Safe – or with a naked set-up where your main line runs straight through to it. The Heli-Safe System works perfectly in conjunction with our Leadcore Chod Safety or Naked Chod Safety systems. Each pack contains two Heli-Safe beads, in a choice of green or brown, along with all the parts you need to get it working – including instructions.

    Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects.
