The Okuma Classic Trolling rod incorporates Okuma's groundbreaking Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement (UFR) technology, which significantly improves the strength and sensitivity of the rod. This patented manufacturing process uses an outer layer of longitudinal fibers around the rod blank, significantly increasing the strength and power of the rod tip. These fibers also increase the rod's lifting power and maximum strength up to four times compared to a standard blade. The result is an extremely powerful and durable rod that anglers can use with confidence.
