Description

The Greys Comp-Flex Fly Rod series is developed with insights from world-class competition anglers, designed for precise and adaptable river fishing. Ideal for modern European angling and tight-line nymphing, these rods feature progressive actions that blend a strong butt for power and control during fish fights with a soft, forgiving tip that protects the tippet and enhances casting ability.

  • Specialised actions for modern nymphing and technical dry-fly methods
  • Bead-weight ratings printed on blanks for optimal loading
  • 20/30/40/50 cm measurement marks for fish checks and fly spacing
  • Down-locking reel seat with a carbon fibre spacer and dual locking rings for improved balance
  • High-stand stripping guide mounted low on the blank to maintain tight contact
  • Double-legged snake guides on the tip section minimize leader wrap
  • Unground blank ridges prevent line sticking
  • Matt non-flash finish ideal for stealth on clear rivers
  • AAA cork handle for comfortable grip
  • Supplied in a graphite travel tube with a protective sock

These rods are well-suited for fly fishing, especially emphasizing nymphing techniques. They are perfect for targeting species commonly found in freshwater rivers such as trout varieties.

  • No rush or rush

Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.
