Description

The Savage Gear Barra Jerk is a highly specialized jerkbait series designed for saltwater fishing. This lure mimics the slim and elongated shape of baby barracudas, a favored prey for larger predatory fish such as snappers, bluefish, amberjacks, leerfish, and groupers. Thanks to its sophisticated weight transfer system featuring tungsten steel balls and fixed weights in strategic positions, the Barra Jerk offers a long, stable casting distance and excellent action, even in harsh conditions.

The reinforced, durable body withstands the bites from sharp teeth, while the unique pentagon lip enhances its lifelike, flashy swimming action. Whether twitching with a high rod, jerking with a low rod, or retrieving at varying speeds, this lure maintains a natural position at every stop. It is available in floating, sinking, and slow-sinking versions and comes in a variety of well-researched colors to match different fishing conditions and preferences.

  • Sophisticated weight transfer system for excellent casting distance
  • Strong, reinforced body built to resist teeth
  • Versatile action suitable for multiple fishing styles
  • Floating, sinking, and slow-sinking versions available
  • Realistic small barracuda details
  • Pentagon lip for vivid, lifelike action
  • Wide range of color options

  • No rush or rush

Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.
