Description

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Eging series is a specialist range of spinning rods designed specifically for eging, which is squid fishing. Crafted with high-modulus 24T and 30T carbon fiber blanks, these rods offer an exceptional blend of sensitivity and fast, progressive action to detect even the slightest touch from a squid and enable rapid hook setting to minimize the chance of losing your catch.

  • Equipped with SeaGuide Gold Label reel seats and durable SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides for reliable performance in saltwater environments.
  • Extremely sensitive yet powerful blanks allow for precise and quick hook sets in squid tentacles.
  • Lightweight rods with tough EVA handles and deluxe rod bags for comfortable handling and protection.
  • Designed for saltwater eging, enabling longer casts than typically expected from finesse rods.

This collection comprises multiple lengths and power ratings, all optimized for squid fishing with lure weights ranging from 1.5 to 4 grams.

  • No rush or rush

Despite being busy with many orders, due to wild prices, I received my 3rd order for May/June today without any errors or defects. Since some of the items I had ordered were sold out, I was contacted by Rene, who I assume is partly a warehouse worker for Fluer, and together we found a good alternative.
