You should only consider two different types of waders - neoprene waders and breathable waders. Neoprene waders are a type of wader that is particularly recommended for stationary fishing, as they are made of a strong material that keeps you warm all day long. When the water is cooler than usual during the winter months, we recommend these waders. With breathable waders, on the other hand, as the name suggests, you get a pair of waders that are easy to breathe in due to the thin material and are therefore perfect for the many summer fishing trips as well as for more active fishing. We therefore recommend neoprene waders for cold days, while you should get breathable waders for fishing in the summer.
When choosing waders, it is important to first figure out what time of year you want to fish and what your needs are. In addition to the right material, it is also important that you choose the right size. Both the material and the fit are important, as your waders should give you the best possible protection and function.

Breathable waders come in different lengths, and some come with a fixed boot, which is included as a loose garment with other models. Breathable waders are perfect for summer fishing trips because they are made of a breathable material that prevents water vapor, so the indoor climate is better than with other waders, such as neoprene waders. Breathable waders are therefore both waterproof, so water is kept out, and breathable, so water vapor is avoided. With neoprene waders you can stay warm for many hours and in very cold water. To avoid wearing out your neoprene waders, it is a good idea to buy a pair with plenty of room. Our Neoprene waders can be delivered with either a sock, rubber sole or felt sole. A rubber sole is like a regular rubber boot under the bottom, which makes it suitable for grass or sand, while a felt sole has thick felt on the bottom, which means you stand better in sand and on stones.

PVC waders are the traditional waders that many of us have seen our grandfathers use. They are used for many different types of fishing, including river fishing, coastal fishing and boat fishing. PVC waders are made of a very strong and durable material, so they will last for many fishing trips. You buy PVC waders based on your shoe size, as these waders are made with attached rubber boots. These waders are not as good at keeping you warm as neoprene waders, so it may be a good idea to choose a shoe size that allows room for warm socks.
As the name suggests, waist waders are for the legs only. These are a good choice if you are not going into deep water and want something that is easy and comfortable to walk around in. Many people use waist waders for fishing in streams, where you rarely get into very deep water, but where you still need something more than wading boots.
